Vision
- To be a channel of God’s healing for the sick and needy and to help people find Jesus Christ as their personal Savior
- To bring Christians from all different church backgrounds to work together
- To be a place that trains and equips Christians to be channels of the healing love of Jesus
- To see the powerful work of God in Finland and all over the world in a way that brings God all the glory
- Healing Rooms currently exists in 80 countries, but our goal is that our work would be spread into all the nations
The methods of ministry
The prayer teams consist of volunteers coming from different churches where they have all been commissioned by their pastors. Everyone receives the Healing Rooms foundational training. The individuals are also thoroughly interviewed before they start serving in the team. All the team members have a desire to see the sick be healed and the captives and oppressed be released in the name of Jesus. A team member must be a mature Christian who is open to the work of the Holy Spirit. Each prayer team consists of 2-3 people.
Healing Rooms are open to everyone who is interested and there are no requirements for receiving the ministry. When a client arrives to the Healing Room, they are asked to fill in a simple form with their prayer request. After this they are led into the waiting room. When it is their turn to be prayed for, the team leader leads the client into a separate room with the prayer team.
Healing Rooms Finland serves the local churches by training Christians how to pray for the sick in their own churches. If someone decides to give their life to Jesus while they visit a Healing Room, we help connect them to a local church so they can grow in their faith. The Healing Rooms ministry makes it possible for Christians to serve people and God together in the way that Jesus instructed us in the Great Commission.
